CITY WATER IS SAFE TO DRINK!

Contrary to misinformation circulating on Facebook, the City of Charlotte’s water is safe to drink.  Sparrow Eaton Hospital has their own water system that they operate for their facilities.  The City was notified by the State of Michigan that Sparrow Eaton Hospital had exceedances of copper levels in their system.  This issue is specific to the hospital.  Out of an abundance of caution, it was the hospital that made the decision about drinking the water for their facilities only.
